First harvest


Today, I picked four precious little leaves from my lettuce to make a tuna sandwich. They're as fresh as they can get. Yum!

    Well, to be honest, they taste just like how lettuce should taste...which is ..tasteless! They're probably too young to be harvested and would be crunchier if they were bigger.

    But they do look really crisp and pretty right?

    They look really GOOD. =D

    Most lettuce bought from outside have this yellowish tinge on their leaves, and look unsuitably wrinkly. Yours look (summarize) good.
