I must say our farm is agriculturally very 'happening'. Besides cultivating orchids, we've got lots of fruit trees and vegetables growing all around. This cherry tomato plant was grown from a single seed of a store bought tomato. It's now a sprawling plant with lots of ripening fruits. My lucky nieces get to eat fresh organic tomatoes everyday!
The farm is also a hothouse for agricultural R&D. One section is farmed out for experimental cultivation of the Jatropha plant. Oil is extracted from the seeds of this plant for the production of eco-friendly bio diesel.
