If you're wondering if the two aquatic plants in my patio are still alive, I've got good and bad news for you. The bad news is, the beautiful fern-like one is almost dead. I doubt the crinkly brown leaves will ever turn green again. It looks like a gonner.
The dandelion from Petunia has grown bigger too. While it is treated as a pesky weed in many countries, it's a rarity here in Singapore.
My heart leapt when I saw a bud. I'm expecting flowers!
OOOOOhhhhhh.. dandelion.. the miracle herb, right? :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to get excited at seeing flower buds too.
ReplyDeleteDont despair yet abt yr fern, try cut all the leaves n water the plant everyday cos the stumps still have roots.I have done a few times with my fern after I left them high n dry for a few mths, miraculously new shoots appear!
ReplyDeleteSome dandelion tea on your patio soon, Ting?
ReplyDeleteOKC - Yup! It's too small to make miracles yet.
ReplyDeleteAutumn Belle - It's like Christmas presents!
ReplyDeleteP3chandan - I cut off the leaves today hoping new ones will grow.
ReplyDeleteJC - Not exactly. I have only one plant, if I use it, I'll have none. I'm waiting for the flower to turn into seeds. Then I will have a whole garden full of dandelions!
ReplyDeleteoH! hahaha! Just ran across your blog. Im from the US and I have a bazillion dandilions! They are taking over my lawn! How strange to find they are exotic to some!
