Shopping therapy

I always enjoy shopping at the supermarket and nursery. This morning I did both. While the groceries are very necessary for the family's well-being, these pretty flowers are just perfect for brightening my day.

This particular variety of Angelonia has larger than normal flowers which makes the plant particularly striking.

I've always wanted this white periwinkle with a red centre. The ones available at World Farm are small and young with very little blooms. I'm hoping for faster growth now that I've transplanted into a larger pot.

  2. Angelonia looks like lavender! So pretty!
Periwinkle is really beautiful. I'm left with 1 white baby periwinkle after the mother plant died! Other baby plants died too...may be due to shock of transplant.... i forgot to save the seeds too....sigh..... This time i will definately save it!

  3. OKC - I'm attracted to purple flowers too! Lavender is just about my favourite. If only we can grow them here.

  4. Malar - Oh, what a waste! Luckily you have a baby one. Otherwise, I will mail you seeds when my plant matures. I'm counting chickens of course. I hope my plant will survive :-)
