The mystery orchid (left behind by the previous house owner) has finally bloomed. The flowers are curly, in an interesting shade of purple. While we grow many kinds of Dendorium orchids at the farm, I don't think I have seen this.

I love this one... blueish purple. So unique! If my orchid blooms, it would be just red or yellow. I have always wanted to add a nice blueish purple flower in my garden. But orchid seems to dislike the heat in my garden as their leaves always turn a little yellow once I stop fertilising. Enjoy these flowers!
