Happy gardener

Finally, after months of waiting, I am proud to present my eggplant's first fruit!

The soybean plants are working hard too. I have more than 20 bean pods from the 3 small plants.

The cucumber has grown bigger. At one time, all I had were male flowers. The situation has reversed. Now that I have no partners for my 3 female flowers, they are starting to shrivel up and die. Thank goodness I had successfully pollinated one!

  1. Wow, I can understand the joy of seeing the first fruit of your plant. I am impatiently waiting for all my vegies to grow up and bear me fruits. Planting vegies are very exciting to me coz I have never done it before. Can't wait for my brinjal and lady fingers to produce fruit.

  2. JC- I used to grow inedible plants but since I started growing vegetables, I can tell you it is very rewarding!

  3. I have a question. I have a stumpy eggplant. Do I just cut open and sow the seeds on the soil? Do I have to bury them? I hope I can get some tips here.
